Preventative Dental Care Services

Preventative dentistry deals with the preservation of healthy teeth and gums, and the prevention of dental caries and oral disease.

Dr. Tartaglione follows the ADA recommendations which recommends you visit our practice every six months for a professional teeth cleaning (prophylaxis), fluoride treatment, periodontal evaluation, and oral cancer screening. X-rays should be taken when needed.

In addition to biannual cleanings, we can apply sealants. Sealants help protect the teeth surface from decay and cavities for children and adults.
